Tish and fips

Tonights poem’s for Napowrimo day 29. Write about a food or meal.

Tish and fips

A wonderful aroma wafting through the air

Of taste bud tingling deep fried fayre

Tickling your nostrils, it’s something you desire

Senses in overdrive, the temptation’s even higher

A bursting kaleidoscope to savour on your lips

Remember just pick the place, your waist, legs or hips

A flavour to delight with vinegar and salt

Can you resist or do you enjoy its assault

With deep crisp batter and thick hand cut

Memories of newspaper and a sea front hut

Relish the moment the first tang on your tongue

It’s all a dream, Slimmimg Worlds where I belong
